How do I get dust off my African violet leaves - spraying isn't effect

    use a blow dryer on low and cool settings

    I know. Even if you do no more than think about touching a leaf the violet dies...I use a soft paint brush..

    You don't. African violets do not let like water on leaves and it often "rots" the leaf. Water from the base and the whole plant will brighten. Remove dead or wilted leaves from the bottom and Do Not Overwater. Minimize touching as violet can respond negatively to some people's touch. I currently have almost 20 growing in my house.

    Try using a hair dryer on low to blow the dust off. Be careful not to burn the leaves. Or try using a soft bristled artists paint brush.

    Horsehair paint brush about 1 or 2" in width.
