Fall Embroidery Hoop Wreath

Make a quick and easy embroidery hoop wreath for your fall decor using a few simple supplies.
We used two different sized embroidery hoops for our wreath. For the smaller one we used both rings, and for the larger one, only one ring. We also used a plain white tea towel and a sharpie marker.
We needed a template for the words on our wreath. I had leftover paper plates from Thanksgiving last year and decided to use one for this project. I cut out the center, so that it would lay flat and could be used as my template. If you don't have a paper plate to use, create your own template with a font you like and print it out.
The paper plate template was taped to the back of a tea towel. In good light it was easy to use a sharpie marker to trace the letters onto the tea towel.
Secure the tea towel in the smaller hoop and trim any excess fabric . At this point decide where you want to attach the smaller hoop - to the top, bottom or one of the sides of the larger hoop. Before I attached mine, I played around with a few different variations to decide what I liked best. Attach the hoops together with a dab of hot melt glue.
This image shows the inner hoop attached to the top of the larger hoop. Add your choice of floral stems to decorate as you'd like. I used sunflowers because they are a great early fall floral.
For this version, the inner hoop was attached to the side of the larger hoop.
Once you decide on the hoop placement, attach the floral stems to the larger hoop with hot melt glue.
For this final version, I used floral stems and attached them to the side of the larger hoop with twine that was wrapped around the stems. This is an easy project that can span multiple Holidays or seasons just by changing the words and adding different floral stems.
