How to repair cracked concrete?

Our home, built in 1938, has a concrete driveway and patio. I am not sure when the concrete was poured but the back patio area, it is full of cracks. I am curious if/how the cracks could be filled and the best way to blend it all such as paint, stain, etc.

Have you thought of patching it the best you can and having Shingle on top?
You can also put a resin and shingle on top.......
