What is the best glue to use to glue cut corks to a base for a mat.

I did use hot glue. Most of them held. Maybe didn't use enough on some? It is being used as a mat in front of the guest bathroom sink so doesn't get a lot of wear. The backing is a kitchen shelf liner. Thank you

I used white professional carpenter's glue about 8 years ago and it is holding as new. Otherwise, I would try E6000. Hot glue will "dry out" in some time and stop working. Use the white glue sparingly on both sides, let dry a bit and then adhere the pieces. If possible apply even pressure and wait a few hours to dry and then cure.

Try liquid glue or Gorilla glue. Both can be found at a home improvement store.

E6000 would not be my first choice. I would use GE Silicone II.

    I agree, e6000 is great!
