I wanted to do something special for my sisters 60th birthday, so I put together a memory jar for her. This is great and pretty simple to make and it's great to think back on the years. And it is another gift to have her open and the two of us to laugh and reminisce. Here's how I created it!
I accomplished a couple of steps before the first picture posted, but here's what I did: I put twine around the jar with some glue and tied a sweet little bow in front. And then I added some vinyl letters saying "Sister Memories" on the jar.
Next the fun part, writing down 20 memories on different colored paper. You can do however many you want, but 20 was perfect for me.
Then I put the memories inside, and screwed top on. It sure looks cute.
I also added some hearts too just cause I love her so much. That's all!
I added a few hearts to top and it is ready to be given to the birthday girl. PS: she LOVED it and so did I.
