How would I refinish an old wooden rocking chair?

This rocker had been on an outside screened porch so most of the finish is warn off.

Completely remove any remaining paint,clean,Use Rustoleum 2X for wood.giving it two lights coats allowing to dry in-between.seal with a clear spray.
I would sand the chair to insure the wood is smooth and any remaining fishin is completely removed. Then, choose the color stain you like, wipe or brush it on as directed. After it has dried, seal the piece with either a spray or brush-on poly to protect it from the weather.
