Repair the cracked rubber/plastic between pool coping and sidewalk.

The space between our pool coping and adjacent patio was 'grouted' with this rubber/plastic just last year. It took the man about 30 minutes to do this, so I am SURE that I can replace it with something that will hold up better or certainly fix the existing. We live where there is extremely cold winters and extremely hot summers. Some sort of rubber-ish substance that can expand and contract without cracking???
It is cracked around the entire pool.

There is a product specifically for this called Deck-o-Seal. If the cracks are big/deep, you should use a foam first, the same company also makes this: Deck-o-Foam. I'm about to order some myself so the winter freeze doesn't make the gaps any worse.
