my laundry room is at the back entrance of the house and is the first thing people see when they come in. I need to do something to cover/hide the dryer pipe that runs up the wall

You can paint it to hide it. Box it in-- but you need to have access to it. Can you put a curtain/tapestry over it? My neighbor hid hers under a laundry sign with funny/cute truisms about laundry such as "pairs of socks come here for a separation."

You can build a wood frame around it with 2x2s the cover with a composite siding (better around heat) and then paint to match walls... check out DIY or HGTV for more ideas also Pintrest

You could paint it to blend in, or Box it in using battens on the wall to form a box like structure and then clad it with 3p;y timber, then paint or Paper to taste.

Hi Kathymutter, hope this helps you out.

Use easy solutions like curtains, shelves, faux wood beams, and hanging wooden panels you can safely and creatively hide your dryer vent hose, you could even use something like a lattice cage around it that can be easily moved for cleaning.

Paint it the same color as the wall so it blends in.

Since this is inside, paint to match would be the simplest solution. Or, maybe paint a theme on it...like flowers, lighthouse, and so on.

Box it in by using a framing of timber toped of with Hardboard or Plywood or MDF. Decorate to taste.
