CAN I FILL THE HOLES WITH SOMETHING SO I CAN REDRILL??

Yes. It takes some extra work because just filling the holes with joint compound like you would if you were only painting leaves the area with less strength. There are lots of choices and I looked up this one at homedepot.com "DryDex 8 oz. Wall Repair Patch Kit" that would do the job. You need the reinforcement screen included in the kit. Embed the screen it in the compound on the wall. Then you sand off any high spots and apply some more of the patching compound. You want to make each application wider than the previous one so you won't see the patch or the repair. Sand and paint then you are ready to try again. I recommend toggle bolts because those little plastic inserts seldom work well for me. End up with large holes and the inserts won't stay put.
