How do you get adhesive out of the bottom of the bathtub?

These were the flowers that people used to put in the bottom of the tub to keep from slipping. Help! I've tried everything!

Big question is what kind of tub is it? Acrylic, porcelain steel, or cast iron are popular choices. And, please let us know what "everything" that you have tried includes. "Everything" leaves us nothing to recommend besides replacing the tub.

Try "Goo be Gone" . Also try old fashioned lighter fluid (just be careful).
