Ever been relaxing in a restaurant booth and thought, "I want this in my home". Now you can!
Restaurant-inspired booths or banquettes are the latest trend in kitchen and dining room design. Booths can seat more people than chairs can, are comfortable, and easy to clean. Not to mention they look fantastic!
We've rounded up some of our favorite rooms that use booths in place of chairs. To learn more, read the National Builder Supply blog. - http://www.nationalbuildersupply.com/blog/home-trends/restaurant-comfort-in-the-home/

Architect Kevin Dakan used a booth to cram as much seating as possible into a small breakfast nook off the kitchen. Photo source: http://goo.gl/tS9Sxm
This kitchen is California cool, yet comfortable thanks to the addition of a plush booth. Even better, the booth has built-in storage to hold extra placemats, dinnerware, and tablecloths. Photo source: http://goo.gl/xzoVQQ
A tufted booth is elegant yet casual, making it a smart choice for the kitchen. That chandelier isn't too shabby either! Photo source: http://goo.gl/7qu1lo

I love every one of these and I need to have one built in my Kitchen. I need a 30" square table in there but cannot find one. When you get that small in a round one, it is too small. And just think of the storage you can put under the seat...that big roasting pan and turkey platter you use once or twice a year!

Very smart about the roasting pans, @Jeanette S! We can help you find a contractor if you're serious about adding a booth to your kitchen.
