I have stink bugs on my Empress trees, I sprayed it with the soapy water and thought that I had killed it. The leaves dried up and fell off and the limbs looked like they were dying. I was horrified, but they came out the next year. I did not use that "solution" this year, but I still have the same problem. Please give us another solution. Thanks.

We've been slammed with Stink Bugs this year and they are trying very hard to migrate into the house. (I just got goosebumps thinking about it...gaahhhhh) For those that make it into the house...they get sucked up into the vacuum cleaner. For those that are outside and trying to 'settle' around the back side of the house, I have found that about 1 oz. of Peppermint Essential Oil mixed with a pint of water and a few drops of dish soap seems to keep them away. I just spray it around the door frame and mist it on the siding...apparently, they hate the smell. (I love the smell so...win!) Works on flies too. Good Luck!
