maybe I should explain.......I take my very large roasting pan and pour in two large cans of tomato juice......then take brass or copper things in my home and put in the TJ (one or two at a time ) turn as needed.......my copper cookware my have some dark spots on it....use soap pad......LET THE TJ DO THE WORK AND YOU HAVE COFFEE>

are you talking about copper cookware? I use Barkeeper's friend and make a paste with the powder and water and put it on the pans then rinse well
