In general, preventive maintenance is in order: wipe it down after every use.

I have used vinegar to do the job as well as Barkeepers Friend. Both have works well and will keep things clean.

Use the product Bon Ami. Old school Frenchie product specifically for Stainless. If you cannot find it locally (it's usually next to Commet), Amazon has it. I live in Maine so it is everywhere and my best friend for 30 years.

Hello. You can shine it up by wiping it down with mineral oil.

Enjoy your kitchen and don't worry about the sink. Each scratch, scar, bit of discoloration, is a record of time well spent and family time making memories. A stainless sink needs less care than anything else in the kitchen.

mine gets a good shine with baking soda and a damp rag, and a good rinse.

Some people like a rubber sink mat in the bottom. It protects the sink and the dishes. Use only plastic or cellulose sponges and scrubbers to clean it, and never steel wool. Clean around the edges and the faucet and such, using a toothpick when needed. If you have a food disposal in the sink, follow the directions and train everybody else to. And I like either Barkeeper's Friend or a soft lemon cleaner. Also, rub down the sink with half a lemon to make it shine, then use the lemon rind in the disposal or in your trash can. Best wishes 😇💞
