When we were painting my son used my nice mahogany chair to stand on to paint.
Did not realize it til now. So it has dried completely.
How can I remove the paint without ruining the finish?
Help!!!

goof off may soften up the paint a bit to carefully remove it

I agree with Dfm about the Goof-Off. I used it on a polished-finished hardwood floor and the spots came out. Using a clean cloth, spray the Goof-Off directly on the cloth and blot the stain little by little. You can tell if the paint is coming off (hopefully not the chair's finish) by looking at the cloth. It should work.

"When paint spatters mar your wood furniture, you can't reach for paint stripper or sandpaper, but there are a few ways to coax the paint off without ruining the finish. If it's been more than two or three days since the spatters occurred, the paint has probably dried and cured. You may be able to emulsify it, but you need to do it with something that won't harm the finish, so the first thing to do is find out what the finish is. Lacquer finishes are easier to damage than reactive finishes, such as polyurethane or acrylic." Read more here: http://homeguides.sfgate.com/paint-off-furniture-ruining-finish-103833.html
