I have drop ceiling in my bathroom that looks cheap, needs facelift!

a Vent is also in the ceiling, and I would like a vent cover over that too...but it’s large cheap plastic tile sheets from the local home builders store in place now. So ugly!

What does the ceiling look like underneath? take a tile out and shine a flashlight up there. You might consider taking it down and redoing the ceiling underneath, you can put 1/4" drywall up, tape, mud, sand, prime and paint with a semi-gloss paint.
You could also see if there are replacement panels that look better available. You could also ask the associates that work there if you can do anything with the ones that you have up in the ceiling right now.

I had a damaged drywall ceiling in my powder room. I nailed up trim molding and had Homey Depot cut a piece of beadboard that just fit in over the trim. It was a bit of juggling to get it up there lol!
I left the beadboard merely laying on top of the trim in case I ever needed to get to the upstairs plumbing again. This was a simple fix and everyone loved what they thought was a custom wood ceiling! Total cost was probably about $40
You can put just about anything that fits your taste and budget. My brother in law had the same thing in his basement. HE WAS ON A SUPER TIGHT BUDGET! We removed all the panels. Painted the grid. Got a few sheets of 3/8" drywall. Use one removed panel as a template and cut out drywall panels. Laid them out on the floor, primed and painted them. He was amazed how it turned out and looked.
Take it out, then decide. They could be hiding a perfectly good ceiling.
Make or find a new cover for the vent. There are a lot of interesting metal grates for floors, that might work for your vent. Or a wood box with chicken wire...or a wire basket. Cruise the thrift stores, salvage places, even some dumps have salvage shops.
Maybe finish the ceiling to match the vent?
Paint it or pull it down and start again.
