How to remove grass which grows long in the midst of my pachesander

I have two beds of pachesander and vinca mix in front of my house. They are surrounded by lawns. Every year, one of them sprouts long clumps of grass which are hard to eradicate. I pull some by hand to remove it, but wonder if there is a natural product I might use that will get rid of the unwanted grass but let the other plants grow, hopefully fluorish.

Carefully spray with vinegar....sort of works for me
do not use any spray it will kill the other plants,you have no option but to pull it out
To keep the grass from finding its way in the only real solution is a physical barrier between the two. My pachysandra has the same issue and I keep pulling it out just like you but there is always some there.
Straight vinegar if you can just hit the grass, but dilute 1/2 & 1/2 if grass truly embedded in the ground cover. It sometimes does stun the ground cover a bit, but it recovers & the grass will brown & die. This will take persistence....it's not a one & done thing.
