A friend told me to just put ex-lax into the mole holes. He didn't say how much, but I would start with the whole "bar" and then gradually work your way down to smaller amounts until you find out how much solves your mole problem.

A farmers advice: spread lime in your yard in spring and mid summer, won’t harm lawn. It worked for us!

•Omri listed for use in organic production.
Product Size: 10oz-will treat 2,500 sq ft
    Application Info:
    • Milky Spore Powder is applied every four feet using one teaspoon or the Lawn and Garden Dispenser
    • Your lawn will look like a grid pattern or checker board. Apply just before it rains or water in gently for about fifteen minutes
Can be purchased at Wal-Mart, Lowe's, Home Depot and probably your local garden store. It can be expensive, but well worth it to get rid of the moles and ultimately the Japanese beetle grubs.
