Easter Peeps Wreath

When I was little, my grandma would buy all of us grandkids Peeps for our Easter baskets.
Remember Peeps? Those little sugar-covered marshmallows, shaped like little chicks?
As a kid, I was obsessed with them, and now they make my teeth hurt just looking at them.
Even though you couldn’t pay me to eat them today, I still get a feeling of nostalgia when I see them in the store.When I was at Michael’s a few weeks ago, I saw little boxes of what looked like fuzzy little peeps, and I knew I had to make an Easter Peeps Wreath out of them.
Here is what you will need:A styrofoam wreath formSome fabricA roll of ribbonSome boxes of “Peeps”Some chalkboard paintSome twineA pipe cleaner, andTwo 3 X 5 index cards
First, I hot glued fabric all around the wreath. I originally used pink fabric, but then I changed my mind and went with the yellow.
I then hot glued the Peeps to the bottom quarter of my wreath.
Next, I tied a loop around my wreath form with my ribbon, and then I made a bow with my ribbon and connected it with a pipe cleaner to my loop.
I could have stopped there, but I felt it was still looking a little naked. I took my two index cards and coated them with chalkboard paint.
I then cut triangles out of the index cards.
Next, I punched holes in either side of the top of my triangles and ran my twine through them all, and then I hot glued it across my wreath.
