Should I cut my lariope half way down or to the ground

    No that is not necessary.Next season just trim or remove any brown blades

    I live in Arkansas and usually leave my lariope alone until around the first of February. Then I cut it to the ground. You don't have to do this every year, I just like the neat look. If you cut it, you want to be sure to do so before the new shoots start showing.
