Stained glass window?
do i spray something over the painted glass to protect it? i love this, i am always looking for new projects to do for christmas, if i can find enough glass items, i am doing this one! and again, why do we use glue with acrylic and not glass paint? Marianne at ragdollcats@comcast.net

A lot of people protect their stained glass windows by putting a piece of clear glass on the outside (helps protect against thrown rocks etc. and makes the window easier to clean) and sometimes glass or acrylic on the inside... acrylic is cheaper... but it does scratch.
Acrylic spray can be used to help protect your projects.
