Corner cabinet butts up against molding of window.

If you are looking to do different curtain hardware and your windows will hold them, you could try tension rods on the insides of the window frames and eliminate having curtain rods outside of them.

Could you place the rods above the windows to accommodate the mounting hardware and just run the curtains to the end of the window to stop at the cabinet?

I would say Fit Rod above window and pull all curtains to the other side and secure with a Tie of some sort........Balance it out by putting something on top of Corner Unit.

Your curtains should be inside the window and even with the window sill. The curtains draping over the sill look off side and detracts from your very pretty table chairs and the corner cabinet. I would also consider shutters and eliminate curtains altogether.

I also vote for inside sill curtains. I would use curtains that you can tie in the middle, like an hour glass. That way you can let in more light during the day and untie at night for more privacy. I think that would complement your table and cabinet nicely.

The corner cabinet is too crowded with the window and the curtains. If you remove it you could add small cabinet that would fit below the picture that's there now, flat against the wall. Then the window wouldn't look so cramped and you'd still have storage in the little cabinet. But the corner cabinet looks bad there.

I agree with just finding a new place for the corner cabinet and replacing it with a slim table type stand to center your picture on. That gives you better balance and normal curtain attachment.

I don’t know if the windows open but if they don’t or if I just never opened them, then I would shorten the curtains and sew shir-on seams on the botton where the hems are . This requires careful measuring and inclusion of seam allowances so that they measure the length of the inner window frame. Then I would use tension rods on top and bottom to place the curtains within the window frames. This will give a more uniform look to the curtains and will give cohesion to the dark window frames and the cabinet.
