At first I thought bamboo too. Especially the stalk on the left and leaves at the left-hand bottom. BUT, the "wood" part in-between the leaves is wrong. The center plant does look like a weed. Let us know if you find out...
I found out what this plant is. Eulophia graminea, a terrestrial orchids that grows in mulch. It is an invasive plant of Asian origin. Thanks to all who wrote.
I would love a better description of the flowers. When do they bloom? Are they fragrant, like what? How long to the blooms last? More descriptions please as the stems do not provide enough help.
