Please help me identify this perennial weed I have fought in my lawn?

Looks like chickweed. Use Roundup or any kind of weed control spray. I mix my own in a tank sprayer, but if you don't need a lot, just buy a small spray bottle ready mixed. BE SURE to avoid getting the spray on other plants you don't want dead.

Weeds are just a plant we haven't found a use for yet. Pretty little bugger.

There are products especially formulated for weeds in lawns. Check with your agricultural extension service for your state to find out the best time to use.

I think it's Ajuga.

It makes a good salad... and vinegar will rid it or black walnut hulls.

Please do NOT use Roundup or anything else toxic. Our environment is suffering enough without us using such products. If you don't want it, pull it up, pour boiling water on it or pour vinegar on it.

Vinegar, epsom salts and water will kill anything.

It is called a steppable. Is a perennial. Spreads a lot but is easy to pull up. Sorry..i cant think of the actual name..but try searchibg for steppable groundcovers.

Stepable reptan mazus purple..i think.

Ajuga. Leaves change shape as it matures toward flowering.

The best way to control is by pulling as the plant multiplies on runners.
