Looking for halloween wreath design using black & orange balls

I'm wanting to make a wreath using painted Xmas balls, but I only want to put balls here and there, like maybe 3 to a cluster? I'm also using some crows and a feather boa. What should I use for the wreath base?

I would probably use a styrofoam wreath and either spray paint it or wrap it securely in a ribbon.
Go to a craft store they will have a few bases, to choose from.
