you can make a solution of 1/2 c ammonia, 1 pt rubbing alcohol, 1 tsp dish detergent in 1 gallon of water. This will give you sparkling windows.
Use white vinegar in a spray bottle and spray the windows. Vinegar is a bit strong so make sure there is plenty of ventilation. Then use newspaper as a paper towel and wipe off thoroughly and let dry.
Start with a good glass cleaner, not Windex, and use newspaper, this avoids streaks and lint from paper towels.
