Have you tried hair spray? I would try the lightest hold.

You could try extra hold hair spray

not really - treating it gently is your best bet...they overload the glitter, knowing half of it will be lost.

washing on gentle and letting it air-dry helps - much modern adhesive is heat-set, and a hot dryer can loosen it.

You could try a spray adhesive. But I really think the hair spray recommendation is the best one.

I hand washed my dress like this, air dried it and store it in a garment bag by itself. Nothing I've tried keeps it from shedding. But, it's a gorgeous dress, so I keep it for holiday parties when there's plenty of glitter around.
