I actually toss mine in the washing machine with a load of clothes suitable. I have also placed it in a high tin can with bleach and let it soak overnight and then rinsed it good when I removed it.
That is what I do. Then hose off. Never ever in a dishwasher, that just gives me the willies!
I always keep a spray bottle of bleach in my bathroom. Spray the brush over your shower or tub. Let it sit for a few minutes, and then rinse the brush with very hot water in the shower. Anyway, that's what I do.
I often soak mine in the clean toilet with bleach, for as long as I can stand the smell. Then I rinse with a good flush or two. (I also clean the inside of my toilet tank pretty often, too.) 😇💞
I agree with Peg and Naomie. Just the thought of using a dishwasher. YUUUUK!
Personally, I think i putting it in the dishwasher is gross and I wash almost everything in the dishwasher. I would cut the top off a milk bottle and use your vinegar or a soapy bleach solution and soak it overnite. Personally, I've never given a tbb a separate bath; I figure I've just used some cleaning solution on it and rinsed it with clean toilet water.
Ewww on the dishwasher, stick it in a bucket with some bleach and water.
throw your toilet brush away! Lol. Go on Amazon and look up Don Aslet's Johnny mop. I throw mine in the washer with my cleaning towels because I clean homes. They also have a Safsty Foam for cleaning toilets and there's a holder you can purchase for them. There is also a video of how they recommend cleaning your toilet. it is absolutely the best and I get nothing for recommd them. They are just awesome products. The safety foam is also good for calcium around faucets.
