Plarn Spider Web Halloween Decoration DIY

If you have two plastic grocery bags an iron and a few other supplies you can make this simple spiders web Halloween decoration.
To start you need a large flat surface that you can iron on. Cover the surface with craft paper. Then cut two white grocery bags into plastic yarn also known as plarn. There are videos on line that show quick and easy ways to cut plastic bags into plarn.
Once you have the bags cut, use tape to secure four pieces of plarn to the table to make the radial pieces of the web. Use the heat of the iron to secure the center together. Be sure to use a piece of parchment paper so that the iron never touches the plastic directly.
Start in the center and lay out the rest of the web. Secure the plastic with the iron as you go.
I had the iron set on a pretty high temperature but you probably want to do a few tests to see what works best with your iron.
The cats, in what can only be deemed a malicious attack did this in the early morning hours. I seriously should have know better. At least it was only plastic bags. :-) For more upcycling inspiration please visit UpcycleDesignLab.com
