Would like ideas for incorporating cheap and beautiful backsplash.

Have redone my kitchen and painted under my counters with regular paint - satin finish - but would like to add backsplash - any funky ideas available?

You could use paint and tape to achieve a shiplap look. It's very "hot" right now.

A lot of people break down pallets, clean the wood, stain the wood - sometimes different colors, then install it. Of course, it will need a sealer so you can keep it clean. I've seen some people do it before installing and some after. You can also paint the back wall and the pallets white and use that wood to install as shiplap - use a nickel between each board for the recommended space. Be sure to keep it level. Good luck!

Or use mirrors, available in various sizes just like tile. Hobby Lobby has more than Home Depot, the last time I looked. Add paint to white grout and make it any color you love. Best wishes ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ’ž

You could use peel and stick tiles, used them on my decorative fireplace surround and it looks beautiful. Did the whole fireplace surround for under $100.

How about a backsplash consisting of wood with hand-made mosaic in colors and a design as funky as you can handle?
