Buy low light plants or add plant lights. If you do have some windows with bright sunlight put plants there. Water the plants but only when the soils dry about 1” down for small plants, and 3-6” down for larger plants. In the winter, my plants only need water every two weeks and sometimes once a month. Shorter plants grow better inside, and plants that get taller than one foot grow better outside as a general rule. And if you buy from national or reputable local stores, they guarantee their plants as long as you follow directions. Best wishes 😇💞

Google "care of ### plant, and you'll discover what each one requires. Some like wet feet, while others require less water, more often. Food is the trickiest, but doesn't have to be, such as whether it is an acid lover, or not. Also some plants like different spots in your house. If you are sure you are not over or under watering, be sparse with food and water til you find the plant's balance. A little less for a bit is better than too much, especially with liquid fertilizer. And be sure you are using sterile potting soil, meant for indoor plants. Put a light layer of stones, or broken pottery pieces in before the soil for good drainage, with a liner (plant dish) to catch the extra drainage. If the plant is able to be grown indoors, try changing its location, where it may be happier. My dad grew orchids in Michigan!
Just be careful of over-attention. Don't kill them with love, lol. Also, water them at least 10 hours before you fertilize them, to avoid leaf or root burn. Good luck. Anyone have anything to add?
