I am new to DIY, & have been trying my hand at a couple of DIY
projects in order to decorate our vacation home on a budget.

I started with a ugly Dollar Tree vine wreath.
I added wire taken from our tool box to the wreath twisting it
around sections of the vine on both the outside & inside.
Next I began securing mesh to the wreath that was also purchased
from the Dollar Tree.
Once the mesh was secured to the wreath by twisting the wires
around the mesh, I then wrapped the wreath with a thinner &
lighter mesh & secured it to the wreath at 4 different points with
the wire that I used to secure the original mesh.
Once both layers of mesh were added, I turned my attention to the
materials I planned to use to decorate my wreath.
I had a white plas
I purchased a small greenery & a plastic white poinsettia from Walmart for
$.97 each. I took a old can of Orange spray paint we had sitting around the
house & lightly misted the plastic poinsettia to give it a Coral look.
I then disassembled the greenery & the poinsettia to use as decoration on the
wreath, & broke out the hot glue along with 4 sea shells I had picked up on our last trip to our vacation home, & 2 sets of "Under the Sea" buttons that I had
purchased from JoAnn fabric.
Finally I tied a little Natural Raffia to the wreath to use as a hanger,
& hot glued a few sprigs to the wreath as well, to complete the
wreath.
