It's fall and the ladybugs are trying to move in. Is there a repellent

Lady bugs are a natural repellent to ants and other pests that kill plants. They are a beneficail insect. DO NOT KILL THEM!

You need to caulk around the house to stop them getting in. The Asian Ladybugs have really taken over the USA but are benefical. If you Don't want to shop vacuum them up after caulking and release away from the house, any flying bug spray will work.

Ladybugs are extremely important, yet I understand you do not them intering over in your house. Hope this link helps! One of our neighbors had a bunch in his bat house.

Ladybugs are a blessing! They eat a lot of lesser beings in the insect world an should NEVER be repelled, but made comfortable in your garden!

Ladybugs are beneficial but are a nuisance when they get inside your home. every fall the nursing home I worked at always got infested with ladybugs. All we could do is vacuum them up with a shop vac until they stopped trying to get in. We sealed and caulked what we could but screens in windows weren't a perfect fit so they'd still got in. We couldn't use any type of spray for anything by state regulation.

Whatever you do, don't vacuum them up! Their wings get destroyed in the process (as my husband discovered :o( We purchased a plain wooden lady-bug house (top opens), lightly stuffed it with dry maple leaves, & placed it (outside) next to "the" window they had adopted. Next we scooped up the remaining bugs and dropped them into their new house. This successfully started the new colony and they came back to "their" house for many years.

I figured it was caulking issue. Don't laugh...bought pest-reject product on line...seems to be working. Not convinced yet but, willing to dream.
