I know these have been made a lot but they are fun and this is one of my most popular posts. So, let's learn how to make a key chain from a wine cork.
You need a few basic supplies to get started. A wine cork, a couple of charms, washers in 2 sizes and colors, screw eyes, a key ring and some glue. I would use either a hot glue gun or some E6000.
All you need to get started is a wine cork, some washers and screw eyes from the hardware store, a key ring and some fun charms.
Glue 2 washers on either end of the cork.
Screw and eyelet into each end. It may help to hold it better if you add a little bit of glue to it. I have never done this but you can if you think it would be stronger.

Add some charms to one end...the bottom if there is a definite top and bottom to yours
Then add the key ring to the top and it is good to go. These are so easy and would make great gift tags and ornaments too. I made this one for a friend and she loves it.

If you are not a wine drinker you can purchase (affiliate link) corks that are plain and even stamp words on them yourself. Or you can purchase corks that are already done. If you would like to make a lot of these it could be cheaper than purchasing wine.
I hope you like it. I am definitely making more of these to use as gifts. They are perfect for teachers, hair dressers, etc.
