You only need four things: 1) a gallon of paint 2) a 4' step ladder placed in the exact center of the room with the gallon of paint on top. 3) high explosives placed between the paint can and the ladder. 4) detonator. You can take it from there.

.Start with the ceiling, and use painter's tape on the walls. Cut out the walls with a brush, and the molding, then roll the rest. 1 paint the ceiling, 2. the walls, and. 3. the molding. The end result depends on if you use flat, semi-gloss, or some other texture.

Do the ceiling first..use a brush to start with..paint a strip 2to3 widths of your roller, then roller paint across ceiling. You want to complete the ceiling in one session. Then let it dry. When the ceiling is dry start on the wall opposite the door. Again paint a strip of paint at the top of the wall, arround windows, and at base. Board. Use the roller paintin top tp bottom. Repeate for the other walls. Any time I’ve tried to tape off knobs hardware...it’s usually a mes, keep a wet rag or to for ooppps splatter. Don’t leave a wall half done. finish the wall in one session. ..even if it takes 4 days To get it done. If the wall have water damage or stains you would need to put a stain blocking primer as your first coat. If you are painting a dark color tint a primer to match the paint, prime then paint.it cuts down on the amounts of paint needed for coverage.

The tip I give is really take the time to do the painter's tape properly. I was suprised at how time consuming it was. It was the task that took the longest but it made a HUGE diference. And you could tell where I got lazy. Big diference. You got this!! I can't wait to see how it comes out!
