How to change a Zipper colour?

Try Marker Pens "Sharpie" ?

Thought of that, but wondered if it would affect zipper, maybe try on another zipper first.

Use the sharpie, I have and it doesn't affect the function . You will have to keep touching up the dark color though .

Have you tried painting over the silver parts with black nail polish?

I have done this with zippers on leather purses, and jackets, and the nail polish lasts a surprisingly long time (without chipping off) considering the price for a whole bottle. Use new polish that is not gunky, apply in thin coats (if more than one is required) not thick, and make sure that the polish has thoroughly dried before touching it, or doing the back side of the zipper pull.

How inspiring! I have this black leather jacket that I don't wear anymore because of the zippers color. I was thinking of bringing it to a shoe repair place to have the zippers changed. But now, having watched your video, I'm thinking of changing the color of the zippers to black with the Essie Licorice nail polish. I'm debating between purchasing 1 or 2 bottles of nail polish. Anyways, wish me luck! 😬
