Mix baking soda and coconut oil to make a paste. Apply on the sticky area and leave for about an hour. Alternatively, you could use mayonnaise and leave for half an hour before cleaning.

I have used plain baking soda . Wet Tupperware item. Take a small amount of soda on a damp cloth, repeat as needed. Work all over the surface of the bowl, etc. Wash as usual. Love Tupperware. I do not put my 60 yr old Tupperware in the dishwasher.

Actually, your method, which is about the same as the paste of water and baking soda, falls into the official recommendation from Tupperware. You are officially correct by not putting it in the dishwasher. That can cause peeling on the hard pieces, and will cause warping of the seals. For this reason, this voids the life time warranty. Great job of carrying for you're Tupperware. I used to be a Tupperware manager years ago, does it show? My pieces aren't as old as yours, but maybe half that. I loved selling Tupperware! Sticky as in grease or label? Dawn normally cuts greasy plastic pretty well, but if that doesn't work a mixture of lemon essential oil and baking soda works great. You'd only need a few drops of oil in a tablespoon or so of baking powder and slowly add water to make a paste rub on and rinse off immediatly and repeat if necessary

Once I got a dishwasher, the 'sticky stuff' came off. However, before the dishwasher, I used baking soda and warm water.
