How do I make this look better?

I have a platform bed that will only fit on one wall if my bedroom. It covers my window. Any ideas on how to make it look better? I have been told I need to make it look like there is one big window behind the bed but I have no clue how to do that! I need something fairly easy as I am not very good with DIY things! Thanks!
To make it look like a big window put up a curtain rod from wall to wall and cover the entire wall with curtain panels floor to ceiling. Then pull the curtain back to see out the window! This means you lose a few inches as you need to pull the bed off the wall a bit but it will look great.
Easy! Measure the distance from wall to wall. Purchase enough backets to hold pic, which you can paint, or wooden dowels which you can paint or stain. Then buy curtains, 84" length or make with flat king size bed sheets or drop cloths. Here are a couple links!

Hi Jana, I have seen them extend curtains across an entire wall running from floor to ceiling to give the impression that the window is much bigger. Or, you could extend the curtains from the left edge of the window, over to the other edge, so the certain frames the bed and give the impression that the window is also that width. Hope that helps!
Use curtains that go to the floor to make the window look larger and you can even use longer curtain rods to make the window look wider as well to center your bed.

Can you center the bed under the window? That would help.
