Happy Halloween everyone. Who said that Halloween is only for kids? Adults love celebrating it, too! Decorating for the holidays can be elegant and fun. Here is my sideboard. Fall colors with traditional pumpkins ,lantern, spell book, crow, tombstone, and fall foliage. Creating a well balanced look and great Halloween atmosphere. A Rustic/ Shabby style that demonstrates how you can use what you have at home and blend it harmoniously with our typical orange fall colors. These traditional Halloween colors can brighten up any room and add a seasonal appeal.

Today I'd like to share some ideas on decorating. Fun Halloween accents that can be made or found at thrift shops, yard sales and dollar stores. Using traditional color comb for Halloween.
A jar I made using a canning jar and labels I found on Pinterest
Dollar store glass and straw.  Wooden stand I made with materials from Hobby Lobby. Chenille Pumpkin that I purchased from a local vintage shop Gilbert Marketplace.  Here in Mesa Arizona.
Halloween globes I made at a Local shop that does craft class Marketplace 42.
A spell book that I taught classes on how to make.
Three Canister set I upcycled and added straw, eyeballs and fingers to give it a  slimy, creepy, spooky look.  all I found at the Dollar Tree.  No hocus pocus,  just clever repurposing
Garland, decorative balls and pumpkins that I purchased at a thrift store.
When it comes to decorating I try to make and use what I have and combine some inexpensive items.  Using my creative side. Hope this tour didn't spook you to much to try your very own sideboard. Happy Halloween
