Mix 1/3 cup plaster of Paris and 1/3 cup cool water thoroughly. Add 1 cup latex paint and mix well. This will cover a 6 drawer dresser. Left over chalk paint should not be kept or stored.
You can rub where you want to remove the paint for distressing, by rubbing in those areas with an old candle. Then after your paint is dry, just wipe those areas with a cloth, and the paint will come right off. Have fun!
Just go buy it at Walmart in the craft department - Waverly brand for $6 a bottle, might take you one bottle, two the most and will be much less expensive and less messy than buying plaster of paris and mixing it with paint.
