How Can I turn a single car garage into a she-shed/ craft room?

We bought a house with a stand- alone single car garage but no garage door. Basically 4 walls and entry door on one end. Floor is concrete and needs to be leveled then a new floor installed.
I plan to remove existing cabinets and shelves and start new.
I need some decorating/ theme ideas.

also... have it spray foam insulated - expensive but worth it - it keeps my shop cool in the summer and warm in the winter. I did not put a subfloor in mine. Just used self stick flooring with extra adhesive - but my floor is flat and I good shape.
Hi Pat. I would put old barn wood down for the flooring, and stain it dark. Keep the walls a lighter tan or yellow color to keep it bright. The theme you could go with is a old cottage look. For the outside I would use stones like field stone and make a border for a flower bed. Put a trellis with a vine climbing up on against the longest outdoor wall.
Check with someone that works with concrete to see if you need to replace it or if you can put something on top of it without problems. You have great storage already, it looks well laid out. Perhaps some paint is all it needs if everything is in good shape. You have what looks like good lighting, but you could change that if the look isn't what you envision in your she shed. Check out places like the Salvation Army for some tables and chairs to give you a relaxing space to sit. Maybe a long table put somewhere to do craft work if you are not always wanting to use the work benches all the time. See if you can find some stools/chairs the right height for working at the work benches for your comfort. After the floor is done, find some rugs or carpet remnants to put on the floor for your working comfort. Try to figure out your colors first and go from there, choose what you like, go for bright or pale, or mixture of both. Have fun making your she cave! Make sure to have space for a computer or laptop so you can get internet, and try to connect the cable so you can have TV.
Wow, what an opportunity!!! it really depends on what styles you like and what kind of crafts you're into...the sky is the limit!
