How to make a Christmas arrangement for headstone

I always use poinsettia and pine boughs to decorate my grandparents. It's traditional but looks nice in the snow. God's strength in your loss.

That is very easy! You can use natural pine branches (if available) or artificial pine branches from the craft store. Make a small bouquet and add some artificial flowers, twigs, ribbon, or whatever pleases you. Once you have it arranged tie a string tightly around the stems to hold them together. Then just place it in the holder. If it is in a windy place, I add gravel around the stems once I put the flower in.

You could do a silk flower arrangement but be sure it's anchored well into the planter w/ styrofoam, etc. Also, remove it in a timely manner so it doesn't fade, fall apart, etc. Blessings to you today and always!

i have always used a small decorated christmas tree for my grave decoration, also my husband wore boots and when he passed away i took an old worn out pair and treated them with snow save and baked them in the oven so the weather would not ruin them and then i filled them halfway full of gravel and put silk roses in each of them and i had drilled holes in the sides of the soles and wired them together and i got so many compliments from people we knew it was amazing plus the silk roses was the one flower he loved.

Evergreen branches and a red bow. I have also seen the branches tied with your favorite man’s tie or the branches adorned with special ornaments (small tools or footballs) tied on with red ribbon. Thinking of you.
