Faux Christmas Presents for an Empty Nesters Tree

When my son lived at home our Christmas tree was always full of gifts. Now that he is an adult and has moved several states away the tree looks so empty underneath
! I thought I would make it look full again by adding some faux presents! I did a few of these last year and with the repurpose challenge it was a great time to add some more!

Grab an empty box (any size you want), some wrapping paper (again any kind you want), mod podge (I used matte) and some embellishment like lace, ribbon and bows if you like. Really you can make it whatever you want!
I used mod podge because I didn't want the paper to rip when I pack everything up after the holiday's are over.
WALA finished! That took about 15 minutes
! Gold paper, some pretty lace and a gold cord tied into a super simple bow!

The next one I did with an empty box, some Christmas fabric, white grosgrain ribbon and hot glue.
I hot glued this one. Super simple!
And it's finished! Such a super simple project to add some life to the tree again!
These are little one that I made into ornaments for the tree ! I added name tags I made from thin cardboard just a special touch of love!
Here's all of the faux presents I made with fabric!
And here's the two I made with wrapping paper!
This one is special it has lights!!

I will make two more of these and post those soon! Oh so pretty!! LED and fiberoptic lights, wire and fabric! Well my tree will be so much fuller underneath this year!
