This is a really easy project. You can use the trees as individual pieces or you could make a centerpiece as I did. I place the trees inside a wooden box from a previous project and filled it with ornaments and pinecones. I really love how this project came out.
Check out the video above to learn how to make these adorable Christmas trees on your own! OR you could always just follow this step-by-step guide. No matter what you do I’m sure you’ll enjoy making them.
For this project, I'm using Carte Fini 60gram paper crepe.
Cut strips of crepe paper (5" wide and the length is up to you)
Fold the strip in half.
Fringe one side in the same direction than the grain.
Download the cone templates from my blog avantimorocha.com
Transfer the template to cardstock and cut it.
Roll the cone until it matches the dimension of the base. Use Scotch tape to keep the shape.
Wrap the fringe around the cone.
Use a pencil to curl the fringe.
If you want you can sparkle some glitter over the tree.
I'm using a candle holder as the tree trunk.
