Groups of 3 in a Gravel filled Flower Pot............
I put mine directly in the soil, in the flower pot
One that I like to use is to remove the stakes, and plop the lights into the tops of Martinelli's apple cider bottles (the kind that are shaped like little apples), or Starbuck's Frappacino bottles (the kind that look like small milk bottles). Both light up quite nicely, and you can move them at any time. A bit of hot glue will seal them to the tops. Hope that helps! :)
Heather,
That is so clever!I never thought of removing the stakes!
Thanks!
Awesome idea! Thanks!
Get some old table or floor lamps at thrift store (I got mine at Goodwill), shelac the shades (to protect material from elements) and drop the tops of the solar lights in the tops of the shades and enjoy. I keep mine on my patio under the patio cover. Take a look at Pinterest for lots of ideas.
