Me too. I keep a plastic dishpan of rags in the utility room and a basket of rags outside. These come in handy when your feet are dirty and you need a rag for any purpose especially wiping off the sweat on your brow! Also, if the dish towels are in good enough shape, you could use them for kitchen curtains or valances or make pot holders from them.

I use my old dish towels for rags.
You can cut them into small squares, stack them on top of each other and sew them 4 thick to make potholders.

They make awesome window valances! I don't sew, so I use that white, iron-on tape to make hems and rod pockets. Curtains in ten minutes? Yup!
