I painted mine about 12 years ago and still looks new. Actually it wasn't paint , but stain, then used white craft paint in the grout. Couldn't be any more perfect. Couldn't have asked for anything more!!
Is this question involving painting brick- if so, don't do it. It will decrease the value if you ever sell. You will regret it in years to come, as painting over brick, quickly goes out of style.
