Hi Susan, you can cut the leaves and the flower stalk, if you have any to about 2.5 cm (1") from the top of the bulb. Water and feed the bulb after cutting and it should be fine and produce loads of leaves and new blooms.

Some say let it go dormant and repot it in the spring but I have mine indoors, and I water them year-round. They bloom every year.
the bulbs need cold to restart the growing cycle. Put the bulbs in a paper bag in the refrigerator for a month to simulate winter.
