Glue a old mirror from a broken basket to a felt butterfly. My niece and I worked on this for my great niece (when I add the great makes me feel old lol) when she visits me. Easy project.
My niece wanted a smiling butterfly . Follow steps below.
Always have All your items laid out first. I used a glue gun and sticks, mod podge, beaded breast cancer necklace, butterfly gems, flower gems, circle button gems, Mirror, felt butterfly and glitter. Also a string or a ribbon to hang your project.
Lay newspaper down to keep your work surface clean. I used a old piece of material I use all the time for my projects. Pick out your felt piece or you can use wood.
Next use the mod podge glue or any type you like I had this on had and it dries clear. Sprinkle on your glitter what color is up to you. I used pink.
Center your mirror where you want it. I used a beaded necklace and cut it to surround the mirror. I glue the mirror and beads with the glue gun. And then glue the gems where my niece wanted them. Then little brass charm said hope on it. I'm a cancer survivor and that's why we chose the ribbon. Don't forget to glue your ribbon on the back to hang it up (the glue gun and glue sticks I've had for years but Walmart or any craft store carries these)
