What is this vine

Question

I asked this question a while back, And no one has told me what this vine is. It looks like so many other flowers but this is as far as the flower opens I'm stumped

Alice, aside from the color, the buds look very much like those on my Bignonia capreolata, which is putting a huge show right now, so I am going to speculate that this is some sort of trumpet vine, possibly Clytostoma callistegioides.

Yes, seeing an open flower would be helpful....I don't think it is a regular trumpet vine..nor a mandevilla..leaves do not appear to be like those on a mandevilla...my first thought was a honeysuckle of some sort as well, but the large leaves I saw on the mailbox make me wonder...however, I have been trying to grow a Bignonia Capreolata (I call them Big Nonas for short) for some time from seeds, even stratifying the seeds with no luck....I would think that is what it is and if so they love to vine up anything to 40 ft....I would LOVE to have a cutting, at my expense if you are interested in sharing...either way, it is beautiful..GOOD LUCK!(BTW, I Pay $10 for 8, yes 8 seeds, so you might have a little business there on the side!)

I have one just like it. It is a Honeysuckle. It never opens more than your picture shows. I hope this helps you.
